TTC 200 MA w/Alerts – This script plots the 200 MA and measures the distance between the 200 MA and the current price. Generally a 4% move in either direction is an indication of ‘too much, too fast’ and raises the potential for a reversal.

The following script is based on the “Price Anomaly” column in the Market Timer spreadsheet I created in 1992. I use it primarily on the DJI and when the ‘Top Level’ reaches more than 100, it indicates a possible end of a trend. It doesn’t matter if the trend has been up or down for the past 3-5 days, it does not predict a trend, only the potential reversal of the current trend, up or down.
